Uzlov Yurii Volodymyrovych was born June, 7 in 1955 in Trutnov (Czechoslovakia) in the family of a mining engineer.
He graduated from Donetsk Polytechnic Institute. His specialty was surveyor business.
Since September 1977 he has been working in the coal industry. He started his labor activity as a district surveyor of the mine named after cosmonauts of the industrial complex "Donbasantratsyt". Over these years he worked as a chief surveyor of mine administration, chief engineer, director of the mine, deputy technical director, and technical director of the industrial complex.
Since April 2003 he has worked as a Director General of the State Plant "Anthracite". For his labor activity Yu.V. Uzlov was awarded with government awards, i.e. with Order "For Great Contribution" of the third and second degrees. He is a Knight of "Shakhtarska slava" ("Miner’s Glory") of three degrees and "Shakhtarska doblest" ("Miner’s Valour") of three degrees. He was declared as a winner of the nomination "For achievement in the field of industrial production" by "Blahovist", the fund and "Regions", non-government organization. He was awarded with the medal "For performing services for Luhansk region". A prize "Golden Mercury" went to him in the international contest "Business man of Ukraine" in 2005. For his long-standing work in the coal industry of Ukraine he was awarded with a breastplate "For region development". The industrial complex which is being under Yu.V. Uzlov has carried out the state task of Ministry of Coal Industry of Ukraine for three years.
The State Plant "Anthracite" was performed 9-month plan in 2006 for 132.5 per cent, plan of excavation for 129.9 per cent. The miners of the State Plant "Anthracite" was mined 1m tons of coal July 27, in 2006. The growth of mining made up 202,600 tons, comparing with the same period of 2005. On August 31, 2006 the workers of manufacturing plant "The Komsomolsk Mine" fulfilled the state plan, it was mined 882,892 tons of coal. On October 1 this labor collective mined 1m tons of coal. On September 28, 2006 the State Plant "Anthracite" fulfilled the state plan, it was mined 1,300,000 tons of coal.
