"Association Odessa-agrogas " was created in 1990.
Currently it is mobile, highly organized organization, staffed with qualified specialists, possessing solid material resources.
Main trends of activity of the Association are:
- construction of main and intake pipelines using steel and polyethylene pipes and constructions for them;
- construction of networks for gas -, water- and heat supply in inhabited localities of the South of Ukraine;
- construction of new and reconstruction of existing boiler houses with their re-equipment for utilization of gas fuel;
- engineering and construction of main, intake pipelines and distributing gas pipelines;
- gas delivery and heat supply for apartments and dwelling houses in urban and rural territories;
- building of contemporary heating and water supply systems.
New economical situation, transition to market economy forced the "Association Odessa-agrogas" since the very moment of its establishment to look for new progressive technologies to diminish gas pipelines costs, terms of building. In result the "Association Odessa-agrogas" besides application of steel pipes works on rural gasification started application of new, nontraditional for Ukraine pipelines polyethylene materials, which are not harmful for human beings. Mounting and putting into operation of 5-6 km length objects takes 2,5-3 months. Calculations proved polyethylene gas pipelines to be 2 times cheaper than steel ones, at that they do not require any additional protection, are light to install, are not corroded, correspond to all necessary sanitarian norms. With growth of population welfare level an urgent challenge to improve quality of water supply to consumer arises, especially at the South of Odessa oblast. Index of polyethylene pipelines correspondence to the sanitarian norms enabled their wide application to build water supply networks for inhabited territories in Odeschina, to enable reduction of ecological pressure at the South of Ukraine.
The "Association Odessa-agrogas" is one of the biggest organizations in Ukraine, which performs activity on gasification, heat supply and water delivery at rural territories. During the last 4 years more than 350 km of gas pipelines were built and commissioned. Besides the Association commissioned former frozen long lasting building activity.
The "Association Odessa-agrogas" as well performs works on gas delivery to dwelling farmstead houses very quickly and with high quality. For instance 500 buildings of v. Kuchurgan Rozdil’ne region were gasified in 3,5 months with high quality.
The "Association Odessa-agrogas" keeps an eye on achievements of contemporary science and technique, implements the best designs, approved by bodies of Derzhnaglyadokhoronpratzy, into production. To build gas pipelines the most present-day European equipment is used, for instance, polyethylene pipes welding is carried out by the installations "FRIAMAT" and "ROTHENBERGER". In process of pipe driving special equipment for horizontally traveling drilling is applied. One of the most progressive gas delivery forms is one stage scheme, which enables saving of 40 thousand hrn. per one 1 km of gas pipeline only due to the change of pipes material. To support high level of the works performed, employees of the association regularly got training at education- attestation courses of Paton Institute. Technical employees got retraining at the courses of advanced training.
