Transportation-forwarding company "Black sea shipping service ltd", founded in 1999, manages and provides the solution of transportation tasks of any degree of complexity at the both domestic and foreign markets.
Within the period of existence the "Black Sea Shipping Service Ltd." became the member of "Ukrzovnishtrans" and AsMAP of Ukraine, approved itself at the market of container transportations and entered the International association of freight forwarders "FIATA", constantly develops the range of services taking into account the trends of development of the market of container transportations, and was enrolled in the list of the most reliable business-partners of importers and exporters of Ukraine.
As the company constantly extends the scope of opportunities; today the "Black sea shipping service ltd" is a group of companies, the activity of which encompasses all the possible lines of foreign economic activity:
1. "Black Sea Shipping Service Ltd." - management of transportation of export, imported and transit cargoes and their complex maintenance. "Black Sea Shipping Service Ltd." is the agent of the shipping lines "NYK Line" and "Admiral".
The "NYK Line" provides our clients with the possibility of transportation of cargoes to the ports of Odesa or Illichivsk, using the international water way Far East - Ukraine, with transhipment in Damietta port (Egypt). The main advantage of this shipping line is the optimum combination of cost and terms of freight traffic.
The "Admiral" shipping line is a great operator at the market of container transportations in the Black sea region and the South Mediterranean area, which carries out direct delivery of container cargoes from Turkey and Israel to the countries of CIS through the ports of Novorosiysk (Russia) and Odesa (Ukraine).
2. "BS Trans Service"- the international transport operator able to provide the following services: motor trucking of container cargoes on the whole territory of Ukraine, CIS and Europe, the possibility of transportation of cargo parties up to 50 containers during one day, transportation of any type of containers. Since 2006 "BS Trans Service" provides the services of custom broker.
3. "BS Air Service" - air freight forwarder and freight transportations dealer of the majority aviation companies carrying out regular and charter flights to Ukraine, represented by "Aerosvit", "British airways", "Lufthansa", "KLM", "Turkish Airlines" and many others.
4. "Black Sea Shipping Service Ltd." proposes services in transhipment and protection of general cargoes at the owned terminal "BSSS - Cargo Terminal", located in 2g Stusa Street, Odesa. The cargo terminal is situated close to the Odesa Tovarna railway station and the main highways, what provides the optimum transport connection with the cities of Ukraine, CIS and Europe. The general area of the freight terminal makes 4,5 h with 4 covered storehouses with the general area of over 10000 m2, including 2680 m2 of bonded storehouses and temporary storage warehouses, as well as open storage yards with the general area of about 6800 m2. The services, the freight terminal is able to provide, are numerous: transhipment of general cargoes from one type of transport to another, package and reloading of large-tonnage containers, completion of carriage and road-train parties of cargoes, etc.
5. The "BS Torg Service" Company provides the complete range of services in custom registration of cargoes in maritime ports, air-ports, at motor-car terminals, as well as two unique plans of customs clearance at a bonded storehouse and the warehouse of temporary storage.
6. "BS Insurance Service" provides insurance and legal protection, surveyor control, insurance of cargoes and any kind of transportation risks, as the enterprise is the dealer of the biggest Ukrainian insurance company "PZU Ukraine". Insurance is carried out together with freight forwarding service or as independent service for clients and transportation and forwarding companies.
According to the results of 2006 the "Black Sea Shipping Service Ltd." continues to keep leadership, controlling 10 % of volumes of container transportations in Ukraine.
