Асоціація українських автомобілевиробників "Укравтопром", що зареєстрована в листопаді 1997 p., об’єднує підприємства та організації України зі створення автотранспортної техніки, вузлів, агрегатів і запчастин до неї. Серед них більшість автомобілебудівних і автоскладальних підприємств України, провідні інститути з розробки та сертифікації нових зразків автомобільної техніки, фінансово-промислові структури, що забезпечують інвестування процесу створення сучасних автотранспортних засобів та організації їх серійного виробництва.
Асоціація координує всебічну діяльність своїх членів, сприяє спільній науково-технічній політиці в галузі автомобілебудування, забезпечує захист прав підприємств та організацій, представляє їх інтереси у відповідних державних та інших органах, а також у міжнародних організаціях.
Важливим напрямом діяльності Асоціації є ініціювання та активна участь у розробці та узгодженні законодавчо-нормативних актів, які спрямовані на державну та правову підтримку розвитку автомобілебудівної промисловості країни та захисту вітчизняного автомобільного ринку.
Асоціацією проводиться розробка інформаційно-аналітичних матеріалів стосовно формування ринку та виробництва автомобільної техніки в Україні, її експорту й імпорту, стану і тенденцій розвитку світового автомобілебудування.
Використання цих матеріалів надає можливість членам Асоціації формувати стратегію свого подальшого функціонування в умовах ринкової економіки.
Асоціація "Укравтопром" сприяє проведенню
в Україні міжнародних автомобільних виставок та науково-практичних конференцій і семінарів з автомобільної тематики.
Названі напрями роботи Асоціації виконують створені в її складі комітети, а саме: інформаційно-аналітичний, технічний та виставкової діяльності.
З 1 січня 1998 р. Асоціація "Укравтопром" є постійним членом Міжнародної організації автомобільних виробників ОІСА.
Association of Ukrainian Automobile Manufacturers "Ukrautoprom" that was registered in November 1997 unites enterprises and organizations of Ukraine for creation of automotive technique, units, aggregates and spare parts for it. Among them are majority of machine building and automobile assembly enterprises of Ukraine, leading institutes for development and certification of the new types of automotive technique, financial-industrial structures ensuring the investment of the process of creation of modern automotive means and arrangement of their serial production.
The association coordinates versatile activity of its members, facilitates mutual scientific-technical policy in the sphere of machine building, ensures protection of rights of enterprises and organizations, represents their interests in appropriate state and other bodies as well as in international companies.
An important direction of activity of the Association is initiating and active participation in the development and coordination of legislative-normative acts directed at the state and legislative support of development of machine building industry of the country and protection of country’s economy and domestic automotive market.
The association carries out the development of informative-analytical materials regarding market formation and production of automobile technique in Ukraine, its export and import, state and tendencies of development of international machine building.
The use of these materials allows the members of the association to form the strategy of its further operation in conditions of market economy.
The association "Ukravtoprom" fosters carrying out in Ukraine of international automotive exhibitions and scientific-practical conferences and seminars of automotive orientation.
The activity directions of the Association execute created in its composition committees and namely: informative-analytical, technical and exhibition activity.
Since January 1, 1998 the association "Ukravtoprom"
is a permanent member of International organization
of automobile manufacturers ОІСА.
