Іванов Володимир Григорович - академік Транспортної академії України. Народився 25 травня
1937 року в м. Одеса. У 1962 р. закінчив Одеський інститут інженерів морського флоту. Працював у портах: Іллічівському, Одеському, Беребери (Республіка Сомалі), Ходейда (Єменська Республіка). З 1984 р. по 2005 р. - начальник Южненського морського торговельного порту, одного з провідних в Україні. В.Г. Іванов - почесний громадянин міста Южного.
Асоціація портів України - "Укрпорт" створена
21 вересня 2005 р. і працює в законодавчому полі як незалежна, добровільна, некомерційна, неприбуткова організація, основною метою якої є сприяння розвитку потенціалу портового комплексу України, представлення інтересів портів у владних структурах в умовах посилення державного регулювання, координація діяльності портів. Асоціація сприяє розвитку законодавчої бази й проведенню масштабного технічного переозброєння, удосконалення виробничої й комерційно-фінансової діяльності, поліпшенню взаємодії із суміжними видами транспорту.
Основні напрями діяльності Асоціації: розгляд на засіданнях профільних комітетів актуальних питань, пов’язаних з діяльністю портів та їх партнерів з транспортного процесу; розробка заходів та рекомендацій для підприємств і пропозицій для органів управління портовим комплексом щодо вирішення економічних, техніко-експлуатаційних і соціальних проблем; розгляд та обговорення проектів нормативних документів, підготовка рекомендацій, пропозицій, змін і доповнень до них, розробки нових нормативних документів, необхідних для ефективної роботи портів; організація семінарів з актуальних проблем інвестиційної, економічної і технічної політики для фахівців портів
і взаємодіючих з ними організацій. Асоціація "Укрпорт" і члени її профільних комітетів систематично беруть участь у галузевих науково-практичних конференціях
і виставках.
Стратегічні цілі Асоціації портів України - "Укрпорт" - ефективне функціонування українських морських торговельних портів, зростання вантажопотоків, що забезпечується оперативним удосконаленням тарифних, податкових, кредитно-фінансових та інших економічних важелів.
The President of the Association of Ports of Ukraine - "Ukrport" the Academician of the Transport Academy of Ukraine. He was born on May 25, 1937 in Odesa. In 1962 he graduated from the Odesa Sea Fleet Engineer Institute. He worked at ports: Illichivsk, Odesa, Bereby (Somali republic), Hodeida (Yemen Republic). Since 1984 to 2005 he was a head of the Yuzhnensk sea trade port - one of the leading in Ukraine. V. H. Ivanov - is an honoured citizen of the city of Yuzhny.
The Port Association of Ukraine "Ukrport" was created on the 21st of September 2005 and is operating in legislative field as an independent, voluntary, non-commercial, unprofitable organization, which main aim is - assistance in development of port complex potential of Ukraine, representation of port interests in governmental structures under the conditions of strengthening of state regulation, coordination of port activity. The association supports the development of the legislative basis and conduction of large-scale technical re-equipment, improvement of production and commercial and financial activity, improvements of cooperation with interfacing transport types.
The main activities of Associations are as follows: viewing at meetings of profile committees of urgent questions, connected with the activities of ports and their partners in transport processes, development of measures and recommendations for enterprise and offers to bodies of administration of the port complex concerning solution of economical, technical and exploitation ad social problems. Viewing and talking over of project of regulative documents, preparation of the recommendations, proposals, changes and additions to them, development of new regulative documents, needed for the efficient work of ports, organization of seminars, in urgent problems of investment, economical and technical policy for specialist of ports and cooperating with them organizations. The Association "Ukrport" and members of the profile committees systematically take part in branch scientific and practical conference and exhibitions.
The strategic aims of the Association of ports "Airport" are efficient operation of Ukrainian sea trade ports, increase of cargo turnovers, what is provides with operative improvement of tariff, taxing, credit and financial and other economical factors.
