Державне підприємство Морський торговельний порт Усть-Дунайськ розташоване в Жебриянській бухті Чорного моря, з’єднаний з дельтою р. Дунай технологічним з’єднувальним каналом. У порту перевантажуються вантажі з понад 40 країн світу. Головні вантажопотоки формуються в придунайських країнах Середземномор’я, Червоному морі і Південно-Східній Азії. Порт здатен перевантажувати практично всі види вантажів і приймати всі типи суден.
До складу порту входять: порт Усть-Дунайськ,
у якому навантажуються і розвантажуються великовантажні судна; портовий пункт Вилкове, що обслуговує пасажирські судна; портовий пункт Кілія, що перевантажує транзитні та експортні вантажі на судна змішаного плавання типу "ріка-море".
У своїй основній діяльності порт забезпечує: приймання та комплексне обслуговування всіх типів суден; навантаження і розвантаження генеральних, насипних, наливних вантажів; комплексне обслуговування безекіпажних суден; бункерування паливом і питною
водою; зняття та утилізація сухого сміття, баластних
і льяльних вод; надання експедиторських послуг та ін.
Завдяки вигідному географічному розташуванню, порт має великий економічний та промисловий потенціал. Він відіграє дуже важливу роль в українській транспортній системі на р. Дунай. З метою створення оптимальних умов функціонування цієї системи розроблена програма, яка передбачає реалізацію таких пунктів:
1. Здійснити реконструкцію технологічного з’єднувального каналу, що дасть змогу в багато разів
зменшити замуленість внутрішньої акваторії і морського каналу.
2. Відновити проектні глибини на внутрішній акваторії порту і на морському підхідному каналі.
3. Побудувати сучасні глибоководні причали, склади та під’їзні шляхи.
Реалізація цієї програми найшвидше дасть можливість підняти на міжнародний рівень усю українську транспортну систему на р. Дунай та дозволить стати Україні повноправною учасницею міжнародного транспортного коридору.
The state enterprise sea trading port Ust-Dunajsk, is located in Zhebriyanskiy bay of the Black sea and is connected with the delta of Danube river by the technological connecting duct.
The cargoes from more than 40 countries of the world are transhipped in the port. The main freight traffics are formed in Danube countries, Mediterranean, Red sea and Southeast Asia.
The port is capable to tranship practically all kinds of cargoes and to accept all types of vessels. The port includes: Port Ust-Dunajsk: (sea access duct, port’s scoop, connecting duct); Port point Vilkovo; Port point Kiliya.
Directly in port Ust-Dunajsk, in internal water area and external roadstead, supersize vessels are loaded and unloaded. In the port point Vilkovo the passenger vessels, are serviced which carry out cruises voyages with Ukrainian and foreign passengers on Danube from the Alps to Black sea.
Port point Kiliya tranships transit and export cargoes on the vessels of the mixed navigation type river-sea. As its main activity the port provides: Reception, complex service of all types of vessels; Loading and unloading of general, bulk and fuel cargoes; Complex service of non-crew vessels; Bunkerage with fuel and potable water; Taking down and recycling of dry garbage, ballast water and sewage; Forwarding services and other.
The Port of Ust-Dunajsk is the youngest, and perspective. Its favourable geographical position gives it ample opportunities to increase its economic and industrial potential.
To create favourable operating conditions of the Ukrainian transport system on Danube river, where the port plays very important role, the port carries out the works on creation of favourable conditions for its functioning.
With this purpose, it has been developed the program which provides:
1. To carry out the reconstruction of the technological connecting duct that will enable to reduce in many times the silting of water area and sea access duct.
2. To restore project depths in internal water areas of port and in the sea access duct.
3. Construction of modern deep-water moorings, warehouses and access roads.
The implementation of this program in the nearest future will enable to raise all Ukrainian transport system on Danube river on the international level, and will allow Ukraine becoming the full participant of the 7th international transport passage.
