Andriy Shadrukhin is the graduate student of Sevastopol Nakhimov Naval School, lieutenant commander of the Pacific navy. In 1993 he retired from the naval forces, found and headed the tourist firm "Larand LTD.", which later became the initiator of Children and youth tourist association "World of childhood - XXI century" foundation.
іThe main purpose of this association is uniting children health improvement camps and sanatoriums, development of unique offer on children rest for the tourist market, and service package offered at tourist exhibitions, seminars and also directly to the costumer. The association consists of health, creative, mountain-tourist, field and labour camps which work with the help of entertaining programs with the elements of extreme and educative tourism. Also the programs consist of pedagogical accompaniment, excursion service on comfortable transport, rest at will in any region of Crimea.
Successful realization of this purpose and complex approach to children rest organization allowed improvement of the material and technical camp base, provision of the complete occupancy rate of all association camps from June to October, CIS client network development.
The results of association activity were appraised by "Zolota pidkova" ("Gold horseshoe") during the work of the best Sevastopol enterprises contest, by the diplomas of Moscow Education Department, by the diplomas and acknowledgements of Sevastopol municipal state administration, by the diploma of the contest winner " The most interesting form of leisure and rest organization for children and young people" during the work of All-Russian universal exhibition "Children and young people’ leisure and rest", by the grateful papers from the centres of children creation and creative collectives. Annually the association receives thousands children from Russia and Ukraine and provides realization of the social program on Sevastopol children rest. There are creative children collectives, orphans and boarding-school pupils, children of lower-income families, sport teams and children with the limited physical and mental abilities in children camps of the association.
An annual international creative collectives meeting "Slavonic style" takes place on the base of health improvement camps of the association in June, and creative collectives of Sevastopol and the countries of CIS take part in this meeting.
The association offers not only summer rest but also winter vacation tours, children and adult groups reception, excursion on Crimea, Ukraine and the countries of CIS.
Business tourism is one of association activity directions. Study excursion tours and conference holdings together with rest forward tourism development of the Black Sea region. Children and youth tourist association "World of childhood - XXI century" actively realizes the partner programs of new high-quality reconstruction and exploitation of operating health improvement bases and investment projects of foundation of new generation modern camps.
