The "Chervona Kalyna" Sanatorium is located in one of the picturesque corners of the Rivne region, amid the coniferous forest on the lakeside. During a relevantly short period of time from the date of foundation this cultural and health-improvement establishment became famous both in Ukraine and abroad.
For 12 years of work the sanatorium became the pearl of Polissia, as the holiday-makers are attracted here by the comfortable accommodation, high level of service, well-established industry and hospitality of the personnel. The "Chervona Kalyna" Sanatorium astonishes with its architectural harmony and perfection of the five buildings under one roof. The bedroom building for 250 persons, medical and diagnostic complex, balneal department with a pool and a sauna, spacious canteen, cinema and concert, dancing, tennis and billiard halls, fitness-centre, policlinic, library, bars, restaurant, shop are all that necessary for the full rest and health improvement. All the apartments, where the holiday-makers live and spend their time are decorated by tapestries, macram? of folk masters, which together with the modern and comfortable furniture create the atmosphere of the refinement, quietness and comfort. And not so long ago there was built the most modern "super-luxury" building, intended for VІР-guests. The peaked two-storeyed building is located on the lake reach, which creates the unique feeling of weightlessness and lightness of those, who are having rest there.
According to the level of medical servicing and opportunities for provision of the skilled services for the improvement of the state of health "Chervona Kalyna" is a multi-sided medical establishment - it is the place for taking care of patients with the problems of heart and vascular, neurological, gastroenterology, gastroenterology, pulmonological, gynaecological diseases and diseases of musculoskeletal system.
During the recent years the medical personnel of the sanatorium profoundly studies and effectively introduces the front-rank ideas of the "integral medicine".
"Chervona Kalyna" is also famous for its healthful features of two types of mineral waters obtained on the territory of this cultural and health-improving establishment. From the 550 m well there is obtained the chloride-sodium magnesium medical water with the mineralization of 8-10 grams of salts per litre of liquid which is used for treatment of diseases of digestion organs, the reduced and normal excretory activity. Except for that there has been opened the workshop for bottling of this water in glass containers which enjoy the great demand at the market. From a well of 1200 m depth there is obtained the iodine-bromide brines with the mineralization of 37 grams of salts per litre of liquid, which is similar to the mineral waters in the famous Czech resort to "Karlovy Vary". The mentioned water is used as a bath for treatment of the heart and vascular, nervous diseases and illnesses of musculoskeletal system.
