The Child’s Health Centre "Fregat" located in the preserve of the mouth of the Dnieper on a sand spit with a shady park is 50 years old.
The one side of the sand spit is washed by the lake covered by the surprisingly beautiful bright-yellow can-docks and white-rose lilies. Here it is possible to bathe on a boat and a water cycle, to fish in quiet bays and then have your catch deliciously cooked by the highly qualified chefs. The fact that the water in the lakes and eriks around the sands spit is ecologically clean is proved by the plenty of river crayfish, as they are able to live only in the pure water!
The second side of the sand spit is washes by the Dnieper-Bug estuary with a great number of incredibly beautiful fanciful eriks.
There is a berth for the boats, large and small cutters, yachts and steamships. There is a car drive to the territory of the centre, when transporting boats to the river. The wild life of the area is inhabited by various birds, animals, due to what children can study them not in the books, but directly in the wild.
The Centre "Fregat" has the own sandy beach equipped by shadow tents and sun umbrellas.
Children are professionally taken care of by the experienced cultural organizers and child minders.
The holiday-makers may enjoy:

• rooms for rest, library, reading-room;
• boats, water bicycles, kayaks;
• modern sport grounds (court for ping-pong, soccer mini-field);
• well equipped playing class with computer consoles (usage is free of charge), various interest groups, excellent fishing;

At will of the children there are conducted excursions to the Askania-Nova reserve, to the Mykolaiv Zoo, and also to the city of Odesa with the visiting of historical and commemorative places of the city-hero, sea-trips to the Ochakiv sturgeon factory.
Childminders organize daily city brakes to the places of archaeological excavations of the ancient scythian settlements (the village of Sofiyivka and Bilozerske settlement).
The variable 5-meal catering is rich in fruit, vegetables, Kherson water-melons, natural milk products, juices, meals of meat and fish.
Cold and hot water and is supplied round-the-clock from the artesian well.
Child’s health centre "Frigate" was more than once rewarded certificates and valuable gifts.
In 2005 the centre, being the winner of the contest between the child’s health establishments, was awarded the Certificate of Honour of the Youth and Sport Management of the Regional state administration.
In 2006 it was given the Diploma of the Department of education and science of the regional state administration for fruitful work , creation of favourable terms concerning the organization of rest and health improvement of orphans. And the Central Board of trade-unions of marine and river transport presented a valuable gift - a DVD-player.
The Child’s Health Centre "Fregat" has comfortable transport connection: railway and bus connection with Kherson. The organized groups are delivered to "Fregat" by the transportation means of the Centre.
