An important role in the continuous operation of production the highly organized infrastructure of the transport system plays one of the parts of which is the presence of the optimal park of transport means. The car park of the enterprises and organizations of the region accounts about 35 thousand of units of movable stock. The main efforts of the transport enterprises are directed at the fulfillment of their main purpose - provision of the economical complex and population with transportations.
The total transport system of the region includes 649.5 km of railway tracks of the public use, 150.0 km of exploitation river navigation routes, 5845.5 km of car roads with solid cover.
