"Elysavethrad Transport Company" Ltd exists since 1067 and deals with transportation of passengers with city electric transport and route taxis. The project carrier capacity of the enterprise is 50 units, actually, by the state on the 01.09.05 there are 58 trolleybuses, including of Russian production ZІU-9 - 51 units and home made PMZ-T2 - 7 units. The length of the contact net - 52.5 km, 6 traction substations in the mode of the remote control.
The enterprise serves 7 trolleybus routes and 6 bus one in the mode of route taxis. In the bus routes 60 route taxis operate with the average carrier capacity of 14 people.
The preference is given to the local city transport as it is the ecologically clean and today the cost of the power energy according to the Law of Ukraine "About the City Electric Transport" of the 29th of June 2004 # 1914-IV is considerably lower than that of the petrol, diesel fuel and it allows keeping of the prime cost of the passenger trip at the more stable level.
During 8 months of 2005 the enterprise transferred 13249.9 thousand of passengers what is by 4019.3 thousand passengers more that during the corresponding period of the previous year.
