__Born on January, 20 1953 in Kherson. Graduated from Rivno State Pedagogical Institute named after D.Z. Manujil’s’kogo (nowadays Polis’ky National University). She worked at the scientific-methodical center since 2001 at the position of the leading scientific worker; she became a director since 2005.

__During her work at the Institute she published about 150 scientific works, co-author of collective monographs. During scientific management of N.V. Lysenko 20 Candidate’s dissertations were written and defended.

__Scientific-methodical center "Ukrainian ethnopedagogics and ethnics" was established at the end of 1993. The choice of the Ciscarpathian University for the establishment of the Center of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine was stipulated by the fact, that an objective need of rebirth of progressive ideas of the Ukrainian ethnopedagogics, their "transformation" to the present time by introduction into the educational-training practice of the educational establishments ripened opportunely and was realized by the scientists in the Western region of Ukraine at the end of the 80th - beginning of the 90th of the last century.

__Over the years of its work the Center conducted five All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conferences, scientific-methodical seminar and two International symposiums.

__Nowadays the staff of the scientific establishment works on the development of the content of the ethnological competence for preschool establishments, general schools and schools of new types taking into account State standards of complete secondary education in Ukraine; systematization of the most efficient means for their implementation at the family upbringing of children and youth.

__During 1993-2009 the scientists of the Center worked on the following researches:

__1994-1995 - collective research on the topic "Ukrainian ethnology and problems of the national upbringing of pupils" (Supervisor: R. P. Skul’s’ky, professor, corresponding member of the NAPS of Ukraine);

__"Ethnic lingua-didactic basis of the Ukrainian language study" (Author: V. І. Kononenko, professor, academician of the NAPS of Ukraine);

__"Ethnopedagogical basis of the Ukrainian national family study" (Author: М.G. Stel’makhovych, professor, academician of the NAPS of Ukraine);

__"Usage of the national pedagogical experience in the formation of a modern family man" (Author: V.І. Kostiv, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, docent).

__1996-2000 - joint research on the theme "Training of future teachers for usage of ethnology in educational work at schools" (Supervisor: R.P. Skul’s’ky, professor, corresponding member of the NAPS of Ukraine);

__Individual research - "Scientific and ethnopedagogical basis for moral upbringing of children from incomplete families" (Author: V.І. Kostiv, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, docent).

__2001-2005 - joint research on the theme "Ukrainian ethnopedagogics in the context of the development of modern pedagogical science and educational practice" (Supervisor: R.P. Skul’s’ky, professor, corresponding member of the NAPS of Ukraine)

__2006-2009 - joint research on the theme "Formation of children and youth competence in ethnology" (Supervisor: N.V. Lysenko, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, professor).

__During the time of existence of the Center the workers have published over 600 printed pages of scientific-methodical works on problems of the Ukrainian ethnology, ethnopedagogics, ethnopsychology, ethnolinguadidactics, ethnological competence, etc., namely: 8 monographs, 28 educational and 40 methodical textbooks.

__In 2009 joint scientific-methodical manual "Ethnopedagogical basis of the Ukrainian preschool education" (edited by professor N. Lysenko) was awarded by the first prize at the annual competition of scientific works of the APS of Ukraine.

__Preschool educational establishments, general education schools such as schools of the Ciscarpathian region (state educational establishment "Gutsulochka" №15 (Ivano-Frankivs’k); № 6 "Prolisok" (Burshtyn, Ivano-Frankivs’k region); № 42 "Dyvosvit" (L’viv); Nadvirnyans’ky region center of children’s creative work (Nadvirna, Ivano-Frankivs’k region); School of Arts by the Ivano-Frankivs’k EUC "General education school-lyceum № 23 of the Ciscarpathian National University named after Vasyl’ Stephanyk") and others serve as experimental establishments for approbation of scientific research.

__Academician (Full member) of National academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine (elected on 20.12.95), Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Theory and Methods of Pre-school Teaching of South-Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D.Ushinskiy.

__Born on the 29th of October, 1939 in the town of Yenakievo, Donetsk region. Graduated from Artemivsk Pedagogical College, Donetsk region (1957) and Pedagogical Faculty of Kiev State Pedagogical Institute named after O.M.Gorkiy (1961). Leading scientific worker in the field of methods of teaching the native language to the pre-school-age children. The theme of the candidate dissertation is "The interference phenomena in the process of children’s parallel learning two languages" (in speciality-19.00.07, 1970). The theme of the doctoral dissertation is "Forming evaluative-control actions of the pre-school-age children in the process of teaching them native and Russian languages" (in speciality-13.00.02, 1985). Alla Bogush is the founder of the School dealing with the pre-school education in the Ukrainian linguodidactics. Developed 20 programmes in the field of pre-school linguodidactics and methods of teaching such as: developing the native speech of the junior pre-school-age children; environmental education of children; Ukrainian ethnology; organization of the children’s artistic-speech activity at the pre-school establishment; developing the Ukrainian speech at the pre-school establishments of the national groups. Under scientific supervision of Alla Bogush 5 Doctoral and 57 Candidate dissertations in the field of pre-school didactics were successfully defended. She is Head of the Specialized Scientific Council on dissertation defence for acquiring academic degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences. She is the chief editor of the following scientific journals: "Education and Culture", "Pre-school education", "The Scientific Herald of South-Ukrainian National Pedagogical University". The results of her researches are reflected in 570 scientific publications, among them the textbooks: "Methods of teaching children the native language at pre-school establishments" (1977, 1992) and the student’s book to it, "Methods of teaching children the Ukrainian language at pre-school establishments" (1993, 2006), "Ukrainian ethnology at pre-school establishments" and the student’s book (1994, 2002), "Methods of teaching children the Russian language" (1992), "Pre-school linguodidactics" (2007) and the Reading book (2005), "Methods of organization of children’s artistic-speech activity at pre-school establishments" (2006), "Methods of intoducing environmental education to children" (2008), 25 monographs, 30 methodic guides for the teachers of pre-school establishments. She is awarded the title "Honoured scientific worker of Ukraine in the field of education" and the medal "V.O.Suhomlinskiy" by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the medal "K.D.Ushinskiy" by National academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine and the Order of Saint Vladimir of the Third Class.

__Born on August 27, 1949 in Starokostyantynivka, Khmel’nitskaya region. Graduated from Kyiv State Pedagogical Institute by О.М. Gor’ky (1971).

__Worked as a teacher, deputy director, director of a number of secondary schools on Kyivshyna. On March 1982 became deputy and then first deputy head of the Kyiv regional administration of people’s education.

__Held the position of deputy minister - Head of the professional-technical education Committee of the Ministry of people’s education of Ukraine (1991-1992 ). On April 1992 was appointed deputy and on July 1995 first deputy minister of education of Ukraine. Was deputy director on scientific work of the Institute of Pedagogic by the NAPS of Ukraine (1997-1998). From January to December 1999 was the minister of education of Ukraine, member of Parliament of Ukraine. In 2000 was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Lithuanian Republic. In 2001-2002 was State secretary of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Corresponding member of the National academy for Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine (1997), academician APSU (department of pedagogic and psychology of professional technical education) (1999), Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, professor. Member of the presidium of Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine (1999-2000). Member of State commission on questions of strategy of economic and social development (2001-2003).

__Laureate of State prize of Ukraine in the sphere of science and technics (2003) and prize of Yaroslav the Wise (Academy of Law Sciences of Ukraine) (2008). Awarded by the orders "Sign of honor" (1986), grand duke of Lithuanian Gedeminace (2001), knyaz’ Yaroslav the Wise V degree (2004), Order of Commander Cross "For services before Lithuanian" (2006). __Author (co-author) of over 80 scientific works on questions of pedagogic, namely monographs "Problems of staff training in professional technical college in agricultural sector in Ukraine" (1969, 1995, 1997), "Social-pedagogical basis of creative potential of work" (2001); co-author of books: "Microelectronics: devises, materials, technologies" (textbook, 2003), "Scientific-educational potential of the nation. Glance to the ХХІ century" (in 3 volumes, 2003, 2004), "General psychology" (textbook, 2004), "Problems of legislative politics" (edition 1, 2, 2004, 2005), "Systematic informatization of lawmaking and law enforcing activity" (2005) and others.

__Tamara Semenivna was born on May 2, 1944, in the village of Drabiv, Korsun’-Shevchenkivsky district, Cherkasy region and received the secondary education there.

__In 1968 T.S. Yatsenko graduated from the faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Cherkasy Pedagogical Institute, obtaining a distinction.

__Having received a candidate degree in 1972 she started her work at Cherkasy Pedagogical Institute. From 1974 up to now she has been the head of the Psychology chair (now: Practical Psychology chair) of the Cherkasy National University.

__In 1989 she obtained her doctorate in Psychology and in two years - the title of professor. 2002-2005 - she is the dean of the psychological faculty at the Cherkasy National University. Since 2005 - a professor of the Crimean State Humanitarian University and the director of the depth psychology centre by the Ukrainian Academy of Pedagogical Sciences at the same university (Yalta).

__She is a member of editorial boards of many periodicals.

__T.S. Yatsenko is the founder of psycho-dynamic theory and the methods developer of the depth psychological cognition of psyche. Her method of psycho-analysis of the thematic psycho-pictures complexes has got the special value. T.S.Yatsenko devised the method of active socio-psychological study (ASPS) that formed the basis of her doctoral thesis and revealed the problem of holistic psyche structure in the unity of conscious and unconscious; separated some important types of psychological safeguards (basal and situational); explored the role of Edip dependence in the psyche formation etc. 25 Ph.D. and 2 Sc.D. theses in depth psychology were defended under her direction. T.S. Yatsenko is the author of more than 200 publications.

__During 1997-1999 Tamara Semenivna has been a member of the Higher Attestation Commission, in 1988-2005 she was a member of the specialized academic Council for the candidate and doctorate theses defences of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of professional education. Since 1992 and up to now she has been a member of the Higher Attestation Collegium of the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine. From 1995 - she has been a member of the specialized academic Council for the candidate and doctorate theses defences of G.S. Kostiuk Institute of Psychology at the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, from 2002 - she has been a member of the Expert Council of the SAC at the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine.

__For her hard work Tamara Semenivna was rewarded with the order of Princess Olga of the third degree (2001), the sign "For academic achievement" (2006), the sign of Ushynsky K.D. (2006).

__МARTYNOVA Raisa

__Raisa Martynova was born on the 18th of February, 1950 in Donetsk. In 1972 she graduated from Ismailsky state pedagogical institute and acquired a profession "the teacher of the English language". During the period from 1972 till 1982 she was working as an English teacher in schools of Odessa and Odessa Region. In 1982 she started her research work in the laboratory of suggestology and suggestological pedagogics in Odessa state pedagogical institute named after K. D. Ushinsky. After that she continued her research in the field of language teaching methods as a postgraduate student in the Institute of scientific research of pedagogics of National academy of pedagogical science of Ukraine.

__In 1989 after defending her dissertation, she got the degree of candidate of science with the speciality "theory and methods of teaching (german languages)", and founded Scientific-research institute of languages teaching methods. In 1993 her institute became the structural unit of National academy of pedagogical science of Ukraine. As the director of this Institute she organized authors’ groups of the development of new pedagogical technology of teaching foreign languages. These technologies were realized in English books and learning course books for the pupils of comprehensive schools and for the students of the humanities. Her system-communicated language teaching method got the status of research from the Institute of commercial property of Ukraine in 2002 (Patents №№45922; 48831).

__In 1997 she was elected as the corresponding member of Academy of pedagogical science. This fact urged her on making the fundamental research and on widespread experimental work in the field of didactic. In the 2007 she defended the dissertation and got the degree of the doctor of science in the field of theory of education.

__In 2002 she became the head of subdepartment of foreign languages for humanities of the South-Ukrainian national pedagogical university named after K. D. Ushinsky.

__She also a member of specialized scientific council of defending candidate dissertations K 41.153.03, and the member of educational staff of scientific journal "Science and education". Nowadays R. U. Martynova investigates the problems of theory and practice of integrating process of teaching foreign languages in Southern scientific center of National academy of pedagogical science of Ukraine. During all her scientific activity she retrained more than 1000 Ukrainian teachers and more than 300 teachers from Russia, Moldova and Kazakhstan to use her authoring method in their work. In 1999 R. U. Martynova was elected as the corresponding member of International academy of pedagogical and social science (Moscow) for her wide-ranging adoption of textbooks to the educational practice of schools and universities.

__R. U. Martynova is an author of more than 165 theoretical and practical works. She was repeatedly awarded with diplomas of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and of the General Committee of National academy of Pedagogical Science of Ukraine.

Professor of the faculty of operational art of the National Academy of State Frontier Service of Ukraine named after Bogdan Khmel’nytsky, chief scientific worker of the age psychophysiology laboratory of the Institute of Psychology named after G.S. Kostuk of the National academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine.

__Born on April, 2 1940 in village Chukheli of Khmel’nyts’ka region.

__Graduated from the Higher Frontier command military school (1961), Military Academy named after М.V. Frunze (1971). He was passing the way of a military serviceman from the head of the frontier post to the head of a State Committee on state border of Ukraine - commander of frontier forces of Ukraine.

__An expert on military psychology, military sciences, organization and educational-methodical support for training of servicemen frontier-guards. Organizer of establishment of the National Academy of Frontier Forces of Ukraine named after Bogdan Khmel’nyts’ky, he was its first director.

__B.М. Oleksienko was scientific adviser during the development and implementation of the first world automated system of state border security in the area of Transcaucasia frontier region (1978-1984).
