__Government enterprise "Ukrainian State Center for Special Cars Service" (GE "Ukrspetsvagon") was founded on October 1995 by the order of the Transport Department of Ukraine (No. 335 from October 9, 1995) on the basis of Panutinskiy Car-repair Plant.

__It took a big role in development of industry, agriculture and trade of imperial Russia.

__Since 1958 the factory has been transformed to repair of freight cars. Reorganization of technological process was made; operative equipment was adapted for production of new junctions and parts; departments of repair-delivery shop, cart repair shop, manufacturing and repair of parts of semicars etc. were re-equipped.

__Since 50s the factory successfully carries out and even exceeds plans on realization, release of total and market output, constantly introduces the new technics and high technology for increase of work productivity and economic benefit improvement.

__The mainstreams of activity of the enterprise are:

__- Scheduled repairs, capital repairs; overhaul reconditioning;

__- Operation and service of special cars;

__- Wheel pair repair and forming;

__- Production of spare parts for rail transport;

__- Rendering of transport dispatch services;

__- Building products and materials making;

__- Building of new semicars of model 12-9745.

__The enterprise is focused on realization of economic and commercial activity directed to efficiency increasing of use rail transport, satisfaction of customers’ demand in freight transportation, saturation of the market with products and goods of the national use.

__Partners of GE "Ukrspetsvagon" are over 200 firms and enterprises in more than ten countries of near and far abroad.

__Since 1995 at the enterprise there were entered new progressive technological processes and new kinds of product were mastered, capital repairs of hopper cars for cement and cisterns for wine, and also scheduled repairs of hopper cars for mineral fertilizers were carried out.

__In 2004 Ukrspetsvagon became one of few licensees in Ukraine which have received the license of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine for the right of rendering services in cargo by rail transport.

__For the purpose of providing release increase, improvement of financial position and as result of it increase of a social standard of living of workers of the Center the enterprise constantly works on search of new consumers of products, nomenclature expansion, reduction of expenses for purchasing of component parts, introduction of energy-saving technologies.
