__Limited liability company "Complex Agromars" (trademark "Chicken of Gavrylivka") is one of the largest poultry farming enterprises of Ukraine and one of the acknowledged leaders in poultry sphere of Europe. The enterprise was founded in 1998 and presently owns powerful production base that provides realization of program on production of over 160 thousand tons of broiler meat and meat products. Group of companies of the trademark "Chicken of Gavrylivka" also includes "Kurgansk broiler" Ltd. and OJSC "Boryspil experimental provender mill".

__The enterprise rents over 12 thousand ha of land in the central part of Ukraine to provide poultry with food. There it plants grain-crops using high technologies and modern equipment. Grain crop is kept on two elevators that can simultaneously place over 150 thousand tons, and mixed fodder production is realized on two provender mills with productivity of about 2 thousand tons a day.

__The enterprise completely provides itself with incubatory eggs. Up to 650 thousand hens can be simultaneously kept on 10 farms of paternal flock. Egg incubation is realized on 4 incubators built with using of equipment of the company "Pitersime" (Belgium) that allows incubation of up to 110 million eggs a year.

__Broilers are grown on 40 farms using equipment of the company "Big Dutchman International GmbH" (Germany) that provides achievement of technological indexes at the level of the best poultry farming enterprises of Europe.

__Two slaughter houses equipped with the newest technique of the leading companies "Mein" and "Stork" (Holland) provide slaughter of 15 thousand broilers an hour.

__Presently the enterprise at support of worldwide known company "Aviagen", world leader of pedigree poultry and owner of cross of pedigree poultry "Ross", creates joint venture for keeping of pure lines and forefather poultry kinds that will allow annual production of up to 3 million broilers of paternal flock. 1 million of them is planned to be sold in Ukraine, and 2 million will be exported to EU countries.

__In 2003 "Complex Agromars" Ltd. was one of the first poultry farming enterprises in Ukraine that introduced integrated system of quality control and was certified on international standard ISO 9001:2001. Its production was repeatedly marked by different national and international diplomas and prises for its constant high quality: in 2001 the company was marked "For the best European quality" ("XIV International Europe Award for Quality") and was acknowledged the laureate of the 7th International Open Rating of popularity and quality of goods and services "Gold Fortune" in the nomination "Quality of the third millennium", in 2003 it was entitled "Leader of poultry farming of Ukraine", acknowledged the laureate of the contest "Golden trademark of Ukraine" and was awarded the diploma "For excellent quality". "Complex Agromars" Ltd. was awarded honorary diploma of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for important contribution to development of poultry farming and success in production of high-quality food products.

__The company holds active investment activity, mainly in sphere of capital building. Presently 4 farms of paternal broilers, 10 broiler farms, an incubatory for 64 million eggs a year, a slaughter house for 2 slaughter lines with corresponding infrastructure, a workshop of deep poultry meat processing and other constructions are additionally being built. Besides, the association holds gradual work on decrease of man-caused influence on natural environment, and its ecological activity is an inalienable part of its business. Environmental work of the enterprise is reasoned not only by desire to correspond to international standards but mainly by worrying about native village and the region. This work is coordinated by specialists from department of ecological security. The enterprise signed corresponding agreements with Kyiv regional sanitary epidemiologic station and Dnipro pool department of water source to realize constant monitoring over state of atmosphere and water on the territory of production bases of the enterprise. The enterprise has legal allowances on special water usage, atmospheric injection and wastes placing. It holds work on receiving of licences of entrails usage. In 2005-2007 the enterprise realized several practical means to minimize influence of poultry growing and meat production on natural environment. It spent over 50 million hryvnas on environmental protection for this period. First of all, as a result of introduction of the newest technologies the enterprise managed to perfect working efficiency of biological treatment facilities that once were built for drain treatment in the village Gavrylivka of Vyshgorodskyi district. After their reconstruction in 2002 their productivity reached 2100 cubic metres per day. Despite of the fact that 75% of industrial drainage was treated with the help of these reconstructed facilities, level of their treatment corresponds to all parameters that are normative for treatment of industrial drainage. The first step included means of significant decrease of work amount on existing treatment facilities. In 2006 a workshop of pre-treatment of drainage of slaughter house was technically re-equipped using technologies and equipment of Dutch firm "Newhouse Water Technologies" to satisfy this aim. Due to the system of flocculation and floatation content of weighted substances in drainage was decreased on 70%, nitrates - on 30%, fats - on 60-80%, and general phosphorous - on 10-20%. The second step included introduction of biological filters on treatment facilities, that allowed significant decrease of worked out sludge injection from aerotanks to biological estuaries. And finally in 2007 state commission set into operation the third turn of a new complex of treatment facilities - biological estuaries of 10 ha of total area that greatly perfected water treatment before its injection from existing facilities to confluent of Irpin river - the river Kizka. It was caused by recommendations of Kharkiv Institute of Ecologically Safe Nature Usage developed in 2006.

__Taking into account plans of production expansion in the nearest future, since 2006 the economy actively realizes building of a new complex of treatment facilities for treatment of 8 thousand cubic metres of drainage per day and constructions for annual waste composting of 75 thousand worked out litter with receiving of valuable organic fertilizers. According to the contracts these building objects realized by subdivisions of "Kyivmiskbud" will be commissioned in 2008.

__Work on decrease of atmospheric injection of dangerous substances is not less important aspect of environmental activity of the enterprise. On the enterprise’s initiative O. Marzeev Institute of Hygiene and Medical Ecology of Academy of Medical sciences of Ukraine in 2006 held special researches to estimate influence of poultry growing on natural environment on the territory of production bases and proved safety of this production for people and nature. But specialists of the economy continue researches and perfect production to decrease atmospheric injection. Thus, used equipment of German company "Big Dutchman" allows great decrease of gas popping injections used for poultry-yard warming, and ammonia and hydrogen sulphide that are excreted at poultry growing. About 50 thousand pine plants, 3 thousand oaks, 150 firs, 4 thousand birches, rowan trees and brushwood were planted for two years on the territory of the economy and this work is kept on.

__Activity and further development of modern poultry farming economy "Complex Agromars" Ltd. is a powerful and effective mechanism of ecological safety and creates conditions for good competition for the other enterprises of Kyiv region. It helps solution of several important social problems, namely creation of new workplaces and increase of people’s income, filling of food market with cheap and high-quality Ukrainian food products, increase of incomes to state and municipal budgets, development of the territory of the region.

__To satisfy this aim the enterprise for three years running holds charitable action of free provision of all who want with organic manures rich in nutriments, made of worked out litter. Due to this people of neighbouring villages and local agricultural enterprises constantly perfect prolificacy of their lands and due to this grow perfect harvest of grain and technical cultures. Almost every family of Gavrylivka and neighbouring villages is connected with "Complex Agromars" Ltd. That is why the guidance of the company is constantly worried about village problems, helps to solve them giving money on development of kindergarten, public utility and other institutions of social-cultural sphere.

__Production ecology is a wide region for different actions for "Complex Agromars" Ltd. It includes control over influence on natural environment, labour safety, protection of workers from professional diseases, and ecologically safe production. Provision of these components is as important for company development as increase of economic efficiency of production and growth of its collective welfare.
