__"Kremenchuk Car Assembly Works" Ltd. as a joint Ukrainian-Russian venture "Kremenchug-autoGAZ" was founded on December, 28, 1995, by OJSC "Gorkiy car works" (Nyzhniy Novgorod, Russia) and Kremenchuk research-experimental mechanical plant. In the beginning of 2000 Ukrainian corporation "AIS" entered the structure of founders. In August of 2000 the first car was produced on new production territory. At the same time the plant worked on certification of cars GAZ-33021, GAZ-33022, GAZ-33023, vans GAZ-2705 and microbuses GAZ-3221. In September of 2001 "Volga" production started, then "Sobol" cars appeared. In 2002 KrASZ began assembling of UAZ of models 31512, 31514, 31519, 3153, and 3160. In 2002 the issue of the second conveyor line was executed and construction of VAZ-21043,

__-21053, -21070 started. Since 2005 VAZ-21104, -21101, -21124, -21121, -21112, -21114 are constructed. In the beginning of 2007 "KrASZ" Ltd. began cooperation with Chinese corporation "Geely". In March the first "Geely CK" was issued, and in September - "Geely MK". Simultaneously with beginning of cooperation with another Chinese firm "Great Wall" construction of two models "Hover" and "Safe" was started, and in November - pick-up "Wingle". All production of "KrASZ" Ltd. is certified in UKRSEPRO system that can be guaranteed by certificate DSTU ISO 9001:2001 in December of 2006.

__The main directions of enterprise’s activity are organization of car construction of junctions, aggregates and spares; execution of pre-sale preparation, guarantee maintenance of cars; realization of other types of activity economically profitable for the enterprise.

__Activity of car assembly works positively influences ecological, sanitary-epidemiological, social and economic situation; gives opportunity of organization of new workplaces, that provides people’s employment in conditions of market economy; issue of competitive goods at Ukrainian and foreign markets.
