__He is an honored metallurgist of Ukraine (1984). Was awarded the Honorable insignia of the Ukraine President (1996) and a medal "For merits" of the second category (2007). OJSC "Zaporizhkoks" has been created in 1993. The enterprise is the successor of Zaporizhia Coke-Chemical Factory with 73-years long history. And even after 73 years the OJSC "Zaporizhkoks" does not just remain the only in the country coke-chemical enterprise with the full complex of coke-chemical manufacture, but also keeps its technological juvenility, innovation, dynamical development; offering the consumers the broadest spectrum of production. Recently the enterprise production, such as: coal benzene, coke pitch and coal pack electrode granulated, has been noted by competition diplomas "Best domestic goods of 2006", and the enterprise was appropriated the status "Manufacturer of the Best Domestic Goods 2006". The control system of quality was introduced at the enterprise proceeding from international standard ISО 9001:2000 (SQM). Improvement and development of SQM at OJSC "Zaporizhkoks" precedes the integration to operating requirements of other international standards, in particular ISO 14000, after all modern history of the enterprise is closely tied with solution of ecological problems. It is possible to say today, that OJSC "Zaporizhkoks" contribution to solution of environmental problems is really enormous. Since 1994 the enterprise became waste-free. The inspirer and the organizer of ecological projects at OJSC "Zaporizhkoks" is its head Boris Voytenko. Knowledge, vigor and ability of building the team of professionals allow the general director to contain front line positions in the national industry. New technological stir was related to the transition to the waste-free manufacture, further decrease in power consumption, reduction of harmful emissions in the environment. One of the most important environmental problems was a problem of full coke gas use, recycling of heat of coke batteries smoke gases and creation of power-saving technologies. New complex based on boiler-units BKZ-75 and PK-85 with general productivity of about 245 t/year of steam was constructed at the enterprise. With the newest technology of fire neutralization and heat recycling of smoke gases from coke batteries, providing:

__- heat recycling of smoke gases from coke batteries;

__- manufacture of steam with parameters which ensure the requirements of the enterprise.

__Further in process of the given project development has been constructed turbo-generating unit to supply own electric power. The success of ecological programs is testified not only by data received at factory laboratory and city nature protection services, but also orderliness of the territory of the enterprise.
