__Kyiv oblast is a wonderful land where a mullions-strong capital, other cities and villages with unique corners of pristine nature have been harmoniously united. In Kyiv oblast there is a border of two natural zones - that is a forest-steppe zone and a zone of Polissya. Besides it there are two big water basins on the river Dnipro - Kyiv one and Kaniv one. All this makes hunting lands of Kyiv oblast attractive, they occupy space of 2 million 83,4 thousand hectares, including: forest - 488,5 thousand hectares, field - 1414,9 thousand hectares and water-marsh - 129,5 thousand hectares, all of them were given at using to the state enterprises, public hunting societies and hunting and fishing clubs.

__Kyiv Regional Department of Forest and Hunting Economy unites in its structure 10 state enterprises of forestry which are engaged in housekeeping of the hunting economy on the general area of 271,2 thousand hectares.

__In hunting lands of Kyiv oblast there are 17 bison, about 570 elks, 1840 red deer, 570 East deer, 170 fallow deer, 8580 roe deer, 3710 wild boars, a considerable number of fur animals and feathery game.

__Attractiveness of Kyiv oblast is in the fact that here there are favorite corners for hunting and fishing to anybody’s taste for not only domestic but also foreign hunters who willingly come for hunting not only for quails, but also for wolves, and most of all for hoofed animals. In the state enterprise "Bohuslavske Forestry" trophies of red deer by weight over 14 kg were repeatedly got. Trophies of roe deer males of the state enterprise "Hunting Economy "Kaharlytske", which were estimated for a gold medal, are already well known abroad. One of the trophies (a tusk of a wild boar), got in the Uzhskyi hunting economy of sports hunting and fishing club "Dynamo", applies for a world record.
