__Doctor of Economics (1995), the professor (1997), the academician of the Ukrainian academy of agrarian sciences (2002). The honored worker of agriculture. He was awarded an award "For merits" IІ and ІІ I degrees, Certificates of honour of the Verkhovna Rada and the Cabinet of Ministries of Ukraine. The institute has been created in 1992 on the basis of the Ukrainian branch of the Central institute of agrochemical service of agriculture. Institute of agroecology of UAAS is a scientific institution which carries out theoretical-practical researches at agroecology branch - a science about protection, reproduction and rational use of natural resources on own requirements of agriculture. With this purpose the institute conducts system supervision of a condition of natural resources of agrosphere and a complex estimation of their potential; develop theoretical and methodological bases of rational use, protection of resources; carry out an ecological estimation of modern agrotechnologies. The practical purpose of these spiritually-global actions is creation of recommendations about agriculture conducting to reception of qualitative and competitive production from simultaneous maintenance of rational use of ground, water, biological resources and a sustainable development of agro ecosystems. Integrated approach oft an estimation of a condition of resources of agrosphere and its influence of agrotechnologies on a surrounding environment is methodological feature of agro ecological researches. At the Institute the postgraduate study, doctoral studies, specialized council on defending of dissertations to reception of scientific degree of the candidate and the doctor of sciences on a speciality "ecology" (agricultural and biological sciences) function.
