__Zhytomir regional state seed inspection organizes work of the district state seed inspections, which efforts of which it directly carries out the state control on a sort of activity of subjects of seed-growing of all patterns of ownership on the territory of oblast according to the Law of Ukraine "On seeds and a landing material". All seed inspections are accredited by the Regional centre of standardization, metrology and certification. In them there are 48 main and leading state inspectors on seed-growing, 10 agriculturists on seed-growing, 55 experts are engaged in definition of sowing qualities of seeds.

__The state seed inspections render services:

__- on sampling seeds from the parties which are subject to realization;

__- on definition of sowing qualities seeds;

__- on approbation of high-quality crops;

__- on granting of consultations on manufacture graded seeds.

__On the average on years seeds are selected and checked by an analysis method on quality indicators in

__30 thousand tests. The corresponding documents are issued about sowing qualities of seeds.
