__On 01.01.2007 the network of automobile highways of general usage that is served by subsidiaries of SE "Kirovohrad oblautodor" is 6253,4 kilometres, including 731,8 kilometres of roads of state significance.

__In 2003-2005 the department was a prime contractor on reconstruction of an area of the road Kyiv-Odesa in Ulianovskyi district with the length

__of 37,2 kilometres, and carried out works on a sum of over 500 million hryvnas. Its subsidiaries also took part in reconstruction. They reconstructed the road Novomyrhorod-V. Vyska in Novomyrhorodskyi district, set into operation 8,9 kilometres and overbridge with the length of 42 running metres, and built the road Chervoni Mayaky-Dzhulynka in Haivoronskyi district with the length of 5,5 kilometres.

__In 2006 they carried out capital repair of the road detour of Bobrynets - drive to the road Oleksandrivka - Mykolaiv with the length of 2,2 kilometres, reconstruction of the roads Oleksandrivka-Kirovohrad-Mykolaiv in Bobrynetskyi district with the length of 8,4 kilometres, and Znamianka-Luhansk-Izvaryne in Oleksandrivskyi district with the length of 0,9 kilometres.

__In 2006 they built a drive to the village Vydne with the length of 1,3 kilometres and reconstructed the road Bobrynets - drive to the road Oleksandrivka - Mykolaiv, started building of the road Znamianka-Podorozhne-drive to the road Kyiv-Luhansk-Izvaryne in Znamianskyi district with the length of 4,1 kilometres (detour of Znamianka). In 2006 they executed works on the objects of communal property on a total sum of over 11 million hryvnas.

__Great attention is paid to building and reconstruction of production bases to develop and increase work efficiency of road economy. Resources of special fond of state budget are used for the last years. Volume of works in 2006 was 4 million hryvnas. There are 15 asphalt-concrete plants on the balance of the department, and they completely satisfy a need of economies in asphalt-concrete mixture. In 2006 115 thousand tons of this mixture were issued.

__Also there are 3 carriers, issuing stone-macadam production, and a workshop of production of ferro-concrete wares and road signs on the balance of the department.
