__The primary goals of the department

__1. Realization of uniform technical policy on operation of meliorative systems, introduction of a complex of organizational-technical actions on preservation and keeping of engineering infrastructure of the state meliorative systems in working condition.

__2. Organization of operation of the state meliorative systems of intereconomic value, water economic complexes and separate constructions, performance of current and capital repairs, granting of services to water users on a contract basis at maintenance service of intraeconomic meliorative networks, water delivery for irrigation, industrial, municipal and other needs.

__3. Control over observance of requirements of the Water code and the nature protection legislation concerning preservation and rational use of water resources.

__4. Performance of the account of the state meliorative fund, certification of the systems, scheduling works concerning keeping of existing intereconomic state meliorative systems and engineering specifications in working condition, drawing up on their flowing and major repairs.

__5. Performance of actions for prevention of harmful action of waters and liquidation of its consequences, organization of accident-free admission of flooding for objects of the department, participation in development of actions for protection of settlements and farmland from flooding and underflooding.

__6. Participation in monitoring of meliorative lands.

__Industrial subsections and management departments are focused on performance, besides primary goals, of works at special account to other organizations and the population for the purpose of attraction of off-budget means.

__The department carries out

__- Repair-building works;

__- Repair of electric equipment and electro installations, in particular rewind of electric motors;

__- Repair of transformers and devices UZRV;

__- Electro assembly and starting-up and adjustment works in electro installations;

__- Test of electrical protective means;

__- Social services (at two sport centers there are sections at tennis, art and rhythmic gymnastics; the sauna, cafe, and the hotel function).
