__Khmelnytskyi regional water economy to order of legal and physical persons renders such services: working out and establishment of operating modes of water basins, water economic systems and channels, statement of rules of their operation; coordination of permissions on special water use; conducting the account of water use; coordination of permissions to the right of use of water objects and lands of water fund on hire basis; granting of permissions and specifications to perform work on lands of water fund; hydro-geological, ecologic-geological search, design and typographical-and-geodesic works, making up the design-budget documentation on building, reconstruction of water objects.

__The regional water economy can provide practical help to land owners and agro formations concerning running, repair of intraeconomic network, and carries out coordination of petitions for reception of permissions on special water use. It performs repair-building, mechanized land, concrete and ferro-concrete works qualitatively and operatively; it also performs installation of reinforced concrete; gas-shielded welding and metal cutoff; designing of building and reconstruction of ponds; cargo transportation; cargo handling works; realization and delivery of building materials.

__The department supervises economic and financial activity of such subordinated organizations: Khmelnytskyi interdistrict department of water economy, Shepetivskyi interdistrict department of water economy, Kamenets-Podilsk interdistrict department of water economy, the Khmelnytskyi sites of group water pipes and irrigating systems.

__Under its management and direct participation in the economies of Khmelnytskyi oblast there have been performed the basic amount of works on land melioration (there have been constructed 51 thousand hectares of drying networks from 117 thousand hectares of available and 2 thousand hectares of irrigating networks). In oblast 17 thousand sq. hectares of habitation have been constructed which has given the chance to improve conditions of life of many workers of this sphere. There has been created an operating system anti-flooding protection on rivers which includes 10 km of protective dams and 67 km of the adjusted channels which has given the chance to protect 13 settlements of oblast from flooding.

__For today the Khmelnytskyi regional industrial department on melioration and water economy and operational organizations subordinated to it annually perform considerable amount of works on keeping anti-flooding objects and meliorative networks in technical-serviceable condition. Despite a lack of money the water economic organizations of oblast under the guidance of D.M. Bahnitskyi constantly try to find industrial reserves and new technical decisions for successful performance of the tasks they have.

__In all subordinated organizations the wages are paid to workers in due time, all social guarantees provided by the current legislation are given.
